What we do
We are a residential HVAC business. That means homes, and only homes. Repairs and diagnostics, full system and equipment replacement, mini-split installation, preventive maintenance, thermostats, component replacement, coil cleaning, and ductwork repair, redesign and replacement.
We do not work on commercial systems, rooftop units, boilers, radiant heat or geothermal, and we are not a plumbing company. If you call or text us with one of those, we will tell you rather than take the job.
A new business, and we will say so
Tennessee Air Pros has recently opened. We are not going to claim decades of history we do not have. What we can tell you is how we work, and you can judge the rest for yourself.
How we work
Two commitments shape every visit.
“The number we quote before we start is the number on the invoice. If we find something else, we stop and show you before we touch it.”
Quoted price transparency is the whole of it. If we open something up and find a second problem, that is a conversation, not a line item that appears on your invoice afterwards. You approve the scope and the price before that work goes ahead.
“If a repair will get you through the season, we will tell you, even when a new system is the bigger sale.”
Replacing a system is worth considerably more to us than replacing a capacitor. That is exactly why this commitment is worth making. We will explain the repair option when there is a sensible repair option, and we will explain honestly when there is not.
To be clear about what these are: they are a pricing commitment and an advice commitment. They are not a promise that a given repair will last a particular length of time.
Visible pricing
A diagnostic visit is $139, and that fee is waived when you book the repair. We publish that number, along with typical ranges for recharges, replacements and ductwork, on the pricing page. Knowing the cost of getting an answer should not require a phone call.
Where we work
We are based in Franklin and dispatch from there to 29 communities across Middle Tennessee. We are a service-area business and travel to you, so there is no walk-in location. The service areas page lists every town we cover.
Getting hold of us
You can reach a person from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week, with 24-hour emergency service outside those hours. You can submit a service request through the site at any hour and we will come back to you. A request is not a confirmed appointment, so we will always follow up to agree a time.
